Finally paid the library some of my debt…so that I may check out books again. Nothing could be better. Anyways I’m reading Face to Face, which is an analysis of Kahlo’s work by feminist artist legend Judy Chicago. A-mazing, as well as Kahlo’s journal. She was a beautifully courageous woman. Just last week I had a meltdown and thought I wouldn’t last without hurting myself, but now I can remember why I am doing this. If Kahlo could show such resilience and strength in the face of suffering, so can I. In fact, I must, so as to be an example of resilience to other girls who have experienced trauma.

One more week here…I want to start a portfolio website. That will be my task for the summer, or one of them. :)
